Human Ancestor May Put Twist in Origin Story

In 2008, in South Africa historians discovered about 2 million fossils that belonged to two primates.  In our ancient human ancestors Australopithecus Sediba is one of the closest human relatives that we now know of today. It is also form a time period that we do not have much information about. The two ancient bodies that have been discovered belong to a young male teenager and a woman in her early 30’s. There is a possibility that the two bodies were related. The two ones living bodies were going to rest but instead they fell into a trap. The two once living bodies died in days, or maybe even hours they fell into a chasm. These Australopithecus Sediba have an odd combination of human traits. Both were able to walk, climb and historians think that they were also capable of making stone tools. They think so because their hands have longer thumbs which help them work faster than us. The brains of the two dead bodies were similar to the human brain but a lot smaller. They were about the size of chimpanzees. Another great discovery that was also found in the Sediba’s, is that they looked more human like, then the larger brained Homo- habilis which is to be more evolved. But since there aren’t many supporting facts to prove their theory historians refuse to reshape the human family tree.
